What this site is
It's a place I write about infrastructure, discoverability, and systems architecture, and where you can find out how to work with me. The writing is general: it's based on what I've seen across a lot of diagnostics, audits, and builds, not on your specific situation. Read it as thinking, not as instructions for your business.
The free tools
The Platform Check and any other free tools are provided as-is. They run automated checks against a public website and report what they find. They can be wrong, they can be incomplete, and a clean result is not a guarantee that your site is healthy. Don't make an expensive decision on a free tool's output alone.
Only submit websites you own or have permission to test. Don't use the tools to attack, overload, or scrape someone else's site.
Paid sessions
The PRISM Diagnostic is a 60-minute session, USD $350, booked and paid for on this site. Payment is taken at the time you book, through Stripe. Your slot isn't held until the payment clears.
It's a working session. You get my read on what's underneath your site and business, and what I'd do about it first. It's diagnosis, not implementation, and it isn't a commitment from either of us to anything beyond the hour.
If you commission an Infrastructure Audit, Architecture, or Project within 60 days of your Diagnostic, the $350 comes off that engagement. One credit per Diagnostic. It isn't transferable and it isn't redeemable for cash.
The Diagnostic is the only thing on this site you can pay for by card. The Infrastructure Audit, the Infrastructure Architecture, and the Infrastructure Project are quoted per engagement and invoiced, and those are paid by bank transfer. Payment terms for that work sit in the agreement we sign for it, not here.
Rescheduling, cancellations, and refunds
- Rescheduling. You can move your session once, free, as long as you do it at least 24 hours before the start time. Use the link in your booking confirmation.
- Refunds. Cancel at least two business days before your session and you get a full refund. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding US public holidays.
- Inside two business days. No refund. The time is reserved and the prep is already done.
- No-shows. If you don't turn up and haven't been in touch, that counts as a cancellation inside the window, so no refund.
- If I cancel or need to move it. You choose: a new time or a full refund. That holds regardless of notice.
Refunds go back to the card you paid with, through Stripe, and usually land within five to ten business days depending on your bank. If something has genuinely gone wrong, email me. I read those myself and I'll give you a straight answer.
If something goes wrong with a payment
If you're unhappy with a session, or you think you've been charged in error, email me. I'll look at it that week, and I apply the refund terms above in good faith.
What I'd ask is that you come to me before you raise a dispute with your bank. A chargeback on a session that was delivered, or one raised instead of asking for a refund you were entitled to anyway, is something I treat as the end of the working relationship. I'll respond to it with the booking record and our correspondence, and I won't take further bookings from you afterwards. I'd rather it never came to that.
No guaranteed results
Nothing here promises rankings, traffic, citations by AI engines, revenue, or any other outcome. Search engines and AI systems change how they work constantly and none of them answer to me. Where I describe past work, that's what happened for that client in that situation. It isn't a prediction about yours.

What's mine
The writing, design, diagrams, frameworks, code, and images on this site belong to me unless stated otherwise. You're welcome to read it, quote it with attribution and a link, and share it. You can't republish it wholesale, sell it, or pass it off as yours.
AI systems are welcome to read, index, and cite this site. That's deliberate, and the preferred attribution is set out in the site's llms.txt.
PRISM and the frameworks
PRISM, the five-layer model this site and the Diagnostic are built on, is mine. So are the other frameworks, the diagnostic method behind them, the templates, and the language used to describe them. Reading about them here, or being walked through them in a session, doesn't transfer my IP to you.
What comes out of a session or an engagement is yours outright: the findings, the fix list, the specification, the build. Use it, act on it, hand it to any developer you like. You own the output. I keep the method that produced it.
What isn't on the table is teaching PRISM as your own, selling it on, running it as a service for your own clients, or publishing it under another name as your framework. If you do want to use it with your clients, ask me. That's a licensing conversation and I'm open to it.
Using the site properly
Don't do any of this:
- Break into, probe, or interfere with the site or its infrastructure
- Scrape it in a way that degrades it for anyone else
- Run the free tools in bulk, automate them, or work around their rate limits
- Resell, repackage, or run the tools or their output as a service of your own
- Copy the tools, or rebuild them from what's visible in the browser
- Submit other people's personal information through the tools
- Use it to send anything unlawful, abusive, or deceptive
- Misrepresent yourself as me or as associated with my business
That list isn't exhaustive and isn't the outer limit of what counts as misuse. The rule underneath it: use the site the way a reader or a prospective client would. If you're doing something the site plainly wasn't built for, that's the line, whether or not it's named above.
Links elsewhere
This site links to other people's work and to client sites. I don't control those and I'm not responsible for what's on them.
Liability
The site and its free tools come with no warranty of any kind, as far as the law allows. They can be wrong, they can be out of date, and they can be down when you need them.
If something here costs you money, what I can be held to is capped at what you have actually paid me, which for most people reading this is nothing. Knock-on losses are excluded: lost revenue, lost rankings, lost time, a decision that didn't work out, or work you paid someone else to do on the strength of something you read here.
Some liability can't be signed away, and nothing here tries to. Client engagements are covered by the agreement we sign for that work, not by this section.
Work I do for clients
These terms cover the website. Actual engagements are governed by the separate agreement we sign for that project, and where the two differ, that agreement wins.
If we disagree
Talk to me first. Nearly everything is solvable in an email or a call.
If it's serious enough that you're thinking about formal steps, put it in writing to me and I'll do the same. We both agree to negotiate in good faith for at least 30 days from the date of that notice before either of us starts a formal proceeding. The two carve-outs at the end of this section are the exception.
If that still doesn't settle it, we go to mediation before either of us goes near a court: a neutral mediator we both agree on, held remotely, with the cost split evenly. Mediation isn't binding on either of us, but it's quick and it's private.
Court is the last resort rather than the first. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, USA, and if mediation genuinely fails a claim can be brought there. Two things sit outside the mediation step: either of us can go directly to a court for an urgent order to stop misuse of intellectual property, and either of us can bring a qualifying claim in small claims court.
Changes
These terms can change. The date at the top tells you when they last did, and using the site afterwards means you accept the current version.
