The Infrastructure Architecture is that blueprint. I design the full infrastructure for your site or business—the structure, the schema, the content architecture, the technical specification—and deliver it as a complete document package you can hand to any developer, systems implementer, or team, or use to build from yourself.

What the architecture covers
Every engagement is scoped to what you actually need—whether that's site infrastructure, systems design, or the operational layer a workflow automation consultant would normally specify across multiple separate engagements. The deliverable is a complete specification across some combination of:
Brand and positioning architecture. If the Audit identified that the problem is upstream of the infrastructure—that the site is talking to the wrong person, using the wrong language, or positioned in a way that repels rather than attracts the right buyers—the Architecture addresses that too. Positioning decisions, messaging hierarchy, and the language that should run consistently across every page, every schema description, and every piece of content. Getting this right before anything is built means the infrastructure reflects who you're actually trying to reach.
Site and information architecture. The full structure of your site or system—how pages connect, what lives where, how authority flows through the internal linking structure, and what the URL and navigation architecture should look like. Designed for both human visitors and AI crawlers.
Schema graph specification. A complete JSON-LD entity graph designed for your site—Person, Organisation, Service, FAQPage, Article, BreadcrumbList, and any page-specific types. Every entity specified with correct field values, @id references, and internal connections. Ready to implement directly, without interpretation.
AEO content architecture. Page-by-page content specifications: answer-first structure, keyword mapping per page, FAQ blocks scoped and written for schema implementation, and content hierarchy designed to be extracted and cited by AI answer engines. This is the layer most infrastructure work skips—and the one that determines whether your content gets found.
Technical handoff document. Everything a developer needs to build from the specification without ambiguity—component requirements, schema implementation instructions, crawl configuration, robots.txt and llms.txt specifications, and a prioritised build sequence. Written to be handed over directly, not explained in a meeting.

What is an infrastructure architecture document?
An infrastructure architecture document is a complete specification of how a website or business system should be built—covering site structure, schema markup, content architecture, internal linking, and technical configuration. It's designed to be handed to any developer or team and built from directly, without interpretation.
What does the schema graph specification include?
The schema graph specification covers every JSON-LD entity your site needs: Person, Organisation, Service, FAQPage, Article, BreadcrumbList, and any page-specific types. Each entity is specified with correct field values, @id references, and internal connections. It's written as implementation-ready JSON-LD, not as a description of what to implement.
Can I use this document with any developer?
Yes. The technical handoff document is written to be developer-agnostic—any competent developer, implementation consultant, or systems implementation consultant—including myself—can implement it without needing to speak to me. It includes component requirements, schema implementation instructions, crawl configuration, and a prioritised build sequence. What you build it in is entirely your choice.
What is the difference between the Infrastructure Architecture and the Infrastructure Project?
The Infrastructure Architecture is design and specification only—no implementation. You receive a complete blueprint and build it with whoever you choose. The Infrastructure Project includes audit, architecture, design, build, and oversight—I stay involved until it works and you own everything outright on completion. The Architecture is the right choice if you have a developer or team ready to build. The Project is the right choice if you want me to build it.
Do I need to have done the Infrastructure Audit first?
Not strictly—but it's strongly recommended. The Audit produces a clear picture of what's wrong and what the architecture needs to address. Without it, the Architecture engagement begins with a scoping phase that covers similar ground. Most clients find the Audit is the more efficient starting point.
How long does the Infrastructure Architecture take to produce?
Most engagements take two to three weeks from scoping to final delivery, depending on the complexity of what's being designed. The timeline is confirmed before the engagement begins.
What is AEO content architecture?
AEO content architecture is the specification of how content should be structured to be extracted and cited by AI answer engines—ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Google's AI Overviews. It covers answer-first page structure, FAQ block specifications with FAQPage schema, keyword mapping per page, and content hierarchy designed for machine extraction. It's the content layer that determines whether a well-built site gets found by AI engines or not.
